As a Director, Reporting & Analytics at Baxter, you will report to our Senior Director, Finance FP&A Transformation and CoEs, with high visibility, collaboration, and engagement with the VP, Finance - FP&A Strategic Planning, CFO, VP FP&A, SVP Treasury, SVP Corporate Controller and their teams. The incumbent will be the leader of GDC, leading a team of ~15 to 25 FTEs located in India. You will be tasked to hire and build out from scratch an advanced analytics organisation based in India. You will also directly lead 4 SMEs from each operating group across EMEA, Americas, APAC and ISC.
What you'll be doingEnable data democratization across enterprise through one source of truth
Data governance over tools, reporting, & data warehouses
End-to-end digital reporting factory for all of finance on standard and scalable reports
Drive adoption of standard tools that meet clients’ needs while also supporting rich ad hoc analysis
Drive the use of analytic tools and AI to facilitate exploration and explanation of data
Empower finance with predictive analytics to “look around corners” and drive actionable insights
10+ years of directly related Reporting and Analytics enabled technology experience with a strong background in transforming and maintaining applications / tools
Deep knowledge and technical understanding of data visualization tools functionality and capabilities (PowerBi, Tableau, etc.), and programming in advanced analytical, machine learning, and statistical modeling tools (R, Python, etc.) to optimize performance and customer experience
Use of agile methodology to deploy tools
Experience with business and solution architecture design to lead the interaction of business systems, data architecture, data sets, and applications
Ability to distill insights from complex analysis and build concise and compelling visualizations and insights to senior leadership audience
Experience in developing and leading both a descriptive analytics and advanced analytics organizations
10+ years working in a global environment. Ability to lead and operate in a team-oriented environment, and support and influence global cross-functional partners and teams.
Proven leadership and management of individuals and teams within a shared services organization (COE, GDC, Help Desk, Customer Service) and successfully lead Manager and supervisory staff.
Excellent problem solving, and customer service skills. Change agent, who is able to inspire change, adaptable to new ideas, and ways of accomplishing tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to drive alignment through collaboration, interpersonal skills, and technical skills with the ability to speak finance
Strong process driven mentality and success in leading business initiatives to deliver large scale process improvements
Strong ownership mentality; maintains focus on driving projects to completion and delivering output/results
Ability to optimally prioritize and handle tasks concurrently; owns career and is accountable for own development and learning
Bachelors or Masters (preferred) in Data Analytics, Finance, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Science or equivalent work experience.
