Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Interior Estimator to join our team at Harishmane Infratech Pvt Ltd. As an Interior Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating the costs of interior construction projects and providing accurate and detailed estimates. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This is a full-time position.
Qualifications And Skills - Mid-Level: 4 to 6 years of experience in interior estimating or a related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other construction documents
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of Bill Of Quantities (BOQ) preparation and analysis
Roles And Responsibilities - Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate and comprehensive estimates
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to evaluate project requirements and develop cost-effective solutions
- Research and gather information on material costs, labor rates, and construction methods to ensure accurate estimates
- Create and maintain a database of material prices and labor rates for future reference
- Attend project meetings and discussions to provide expertise on cost estimation
- Identify and analyze potential risks and opportunities in the project estimates
- Review and compare supplier and subcontractor quotes to select the most cost-effective options
- Prepare and present cost estimates to clients and management for review and approval
- Monitor project costs and make adjustments as necessary throughout the construction process
