Role Description: PDS International Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a motivated and analytical Export Pricing Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and maintaining competitive export pricing strategies, ensuring profitability for our company while delivering exceptional value to our clients. Roles & Responsibilities: Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and operational costs to develop and maintain competitive export freight forwarding rates for various modes of transportation (Ocean, Air, etc.) Prepare accurate and timely quotes for export shipments, considering factors such as cargo type, weight, volume, origin, destination, and desired transit time. Negotiate competitive rates with carriers (shipping lines, airlines) to secure the best possible deals for our clients. Implement and maintain pricing models and tools to optimize profitability. Monitor and analyze pricing data to identify trends and suggest pricing adjustments. Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure accurate pricing information is presented in proposals and quotations. Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams (Operations, Finance) and external vendors to ensure smooth pricing execution. Stay updated on international trade regulations, customs procedures, and fuel surcharges impacting export costs. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate pricing strategies and performance metrics to management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred). Minimum 2-3 years of experience in export pricing or a related role within the freight forwarding industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent understanding of international trade regulations and customs procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with freight forwarding software a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
