Position Cloud Engineer/Architect

  Job Description:

• Work in tandem with application team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud services for the com Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to applications team. Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design.
• Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guideline
•  Delivery of IT solutions in cloud, hybrid and on-premises model
•  Participating in implementation and design of technical solutions in the fields of Cloud architecture, automation, Disaster Recovery / High Availability
• Identifying the possibilities of optimization and transformation of client IT and Cloud infrastructure

  Competencies Required:

5 years of experience with end-end architecture for large design and coordinate project team

3+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure

Experience (or at least good fundamentals) in working with Containers with usage of leading orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, AKS)

Excellent understanding of the cloud cost management and optimization

Demonstrated expertise in building Web Applications, Enterprise Applications, Web Services, and Management at scale is a requirement. Strong knowledge of data stores (SQL, NoSQL), and ability to make choices among available technology based on requirements.

Experience with Architectural patterns for High Availability, Performance, Scale Out architecture, Disaster Recovery, Security Architecture Knowledge of cloud-based architectures, deployment and operational aspects (onprem and azure)

Understanding of and experience with the five pillars of a well-architected frameworks

Understanding of Scrum or Agile development and Dev ops team initiatives

Experience in several of the following areas: database architecture, ETL, business intelligence, big data, machine learning, advanced analytics

Proven ability to collaborative with multi-disciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject matter experts
