Job description
Handelnine Global is an e-commerce company that owns and operates over 15 online retail brands across 60+ countries. With offices in India and the USA, we cater to a global market including the UK, USA, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will lead our QA team, ensuring the highest standards of quality at all stages of software development.
Key Responsibilities
● Work as a part of the Tech Team and be accountable for quality at all stages of the software development life cycle.
● Coordinate activities within a small QA team.
● Improve efficiency and transparency of QA processes in software development and release management.
● Conduct requirements testing, draft test cases and maintain test suites.
● Conduct and Report performance testing for applications.
● Conduct manual and API testing of separate applications within a united ecosystem: ecommerce app, ERP, integration layer.
● Conduct UI testing according to Figma designs.
(Preferred) Maintain and expand E2E testing suite build in JS with Cypress.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 5-8 years of experience in software development, Prior experience (2+ years) working on solutions for e-commerce or systems of similar complexity, preferably in a startup environment.
- Experience leading a small team and / or mentoring other team members.
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Agile QA processes and best practices, with the ability to mentor and guide the QA team.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments; comfortable with the ambiguity characteristic of growing systems.
- Independent, result-focused worker with a commitment to incremental improvement and learning.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think clearly, logically, and laterally.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with remote team members.
- Learning: investigate and understand complex systems and flows.
