Global Purchasing Analytics Data Developer

The Global Purchasing Analytics Data Developer is a critical team member responsible for managing, processing, and analyzing substantial amounts of data to support various business analysis. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with new data sources, collaborates with the team on best data solutions, and is knowledgeable with various analytics tools such as PowerBI, Qlik Sense, Palantir Foundry and others.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Design amp; develop ETL processes from a data lake into the required business intelligence tool
  • Develop, implement, and maintain data and reporting processing solutions to ensure data quality and consistency
  • Develop, implement, and maintain data models to support evolving business reporting needs
  • Collaborate with internal and external data teams in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT so accurate data connections can be made to support our business and to support establishment of the new Data-4-All environment
  • Develop Ad-Hoc reports to support Purchasing Business, Executives, and corporate Legal, Government, and Regulatory requests.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports using PowerBI, Qlik Sense, Palantir Foundry's Workshop, Quiver amp; Slate
  • Candidate expected to work on EST until trained.***
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree Computer Science, Business Analytic or other closely related field of study from an accredited program
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with 2+ years of relevant data analysis
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts amp; ETL processes
  • Strong proficiency in SQL
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Qlik Sense, or Tableau
  • Proven experience in working with large data sets
  • Strong analytical amp; problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in an Agile development team
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate data findings (tell the story) to technical and non-technical audiences, including making recommendations to senior management

Preferred Requirements

  • Preferred proficiency in Power Query, Dax, Typescript
  • Preferred knowledge in Palantir Workshop, Quiver, Slate, Snowflake, and/or Service Now
  • Experience with Supply Chain Management amp; Purchasing systems such as SAP
  • Experience with statistical packages such as R, Frontline Analytics, or other data mining tools

Additional Information / Must Haves

  • SQL Must Be - Reports and dashboards / SQuirrel /Snowflake / Palantir
  • Open to background / Auto is a preferred.
  • Very experience with Coding
  • SAP experience
  • (Team Size) - 4
  • in US and 1 in South America
  • Start on EST until trained. Preferred to EST/ Europe would be great only because it would be great to connect with the European team.
  • Comfortable being uncomfortable - 13 systems. Working with different teams / Data Ranging / Data mining
