Regional Credit Manager - Anchor Onboarding

Job description
The purpose of the role is appraisal of anchors/corporates prior to onboarding & monitor the respective Supply Chain Finance programs in line with Muthoot Fincorp & Muthoot Pappachan' s strategic objectives. The role of the incumbent is expected to assess the risks, stipulate suitable mitigants and structure the program terms of the anchors in collaboration with key stakeholders and cross functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for analyzing the anchor Company / Fintech partners with the required due diligence and to ensure that all information required to take a credit decision is captured. This would involve understanding the anchor's business model, financial analysis, management and industry analysis.
- Reviewing of anchor companies / anchor programs (vendor /dealer finance anchor programs) for a deep tier Supply Chain Finance vertical.
- Discuss with anchors for better understanding of their business credentials, ensuring timely movement of cases.
- Recommend quality anchors, thereby ensuring good quality portfolio and minimal level of NPAs.
- Monitoring of various anchor program review triggers for existing anchor program and ensure compliance with the set parameters. Highlighting those case where the trigger is breached. Develop strategies to proactively address credit issues and delinquencies.
- Portfolio monitoring of Anchor programs to identify Early Warning Signals.
- Conduct detailed analysis of delinquencies and recommend changes in Anchor program.
- Ensure that the anchor renewal proposal is compliant with the stipulated conditions at the time of previous sanction.
- Develop and maintain credit risk strategy and policy by continuous analysis of business and collection trends, risk assessment & mitigation thereof.
- Driving automation and digitization
- Generate and maintain regular reports highlighting the credit portfolio's performance, risk exposure and trends.
