This drives new Standard Manufacturing Cells, which will form the basis of the BIW manufacturing facilities adhering to a common BoP across the platform..GradeL1.1/L1.2Responsible For(i f managerial)As a Body in White Virtual Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for Virtual Manufacturing techniques enhance the ability to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, re-usability and the environment.Job Description.Product & Process Compa tibility.Product & Process Change Evaluation â€' Cost and feasibility studies in support of.engineering change proposals.PACN, A IMS 2, issue reports/JIRA and MRE responses.CAD Capability-Experience of Visio, Teamcenter Vismockup & 3D Experience is desirable .Familiarity with BIW manufacturing facilities â€' It is expected that the Process.definition service will be familiar with both pr oduction and prototype manufacturing.environments including experience of fixture design/buy-off, joining technology (SPR,.SWD, FDS, FSE, Laser, Clinch, Hemming, Studding, Nutting, Auto-Bolting as.examples).Confirmation of BoP â€' Maintain BoP throughoutSki lls and ExperienceTechnical.Process Authoring - 'Process Definition' based on new data release (assume high level Process Level 0 'Process strategy' available) â€' Key sub deliverables as below.Process Buy-off including demonstrable evidence of installed line r ate,.bottlenecks, maximum capacity by zone, alignment to DES and space.protection..Process feasibility.Process optimisation .Part Allocation Matrix (PAM).Product change identified vs previous intent.Service requirements â€' Identify, agree and maintain in line with service.departmentClassification: Internal.Take-out strategy.Interop pallet requirements.Target Agreement â€' Pr oduct metrics Number of panels, joint count, metres of.adhesive etc.Concept Tooling Design and Simulation review and buy-off. Product/Process & Fixing Allocation.Metal Tree.Gantt Chart.Change Management.Snags / AIMS / JIRA.BoP Compliance.Cycle Ti me capability.Equipment Utilisation.Cost Status.PFMEA / Risk Filters / Review of YSPersonal-Ability to work to high quality to tight deadlines-Ability to work on multiple tasks and manage priorities-Can work in isolation requiring minimal intervention from client/onshore Co-ordinator-Able to solve assembly sequencing problems-Good communicator â€' both verbal and written English Software Skills-Experience of using Team Centre Dig buck / Vis Mockup to visualize components and vehicle systems-PC literate i n MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint-Knowledge of legacy JLR/Ford systems (AIMs,WERs, GSPAS)-Experience of using Rob cad and Si emens Process simulate software for creating cell design.Qualifications-Ideally qualified to diploma/degree level in manufacturin g or mechanical engineering-Experience 3-6 years
