About the role: The position seats within the APAC Global Banking IT team and will focus on the SWIFT application. The position overall objective is to streamline our SWIFT solutions through innovation and automation, providing operational excellence to our financial institution The position is responsible for leading project management and change initiatives by defining requirements, designing solutions, overseeing implementation, conducting testing, and managing user acceptance Main responsibilities and duties of the role: Support the business in defining business requirements and evaluate the feasibility of implementing those requirements As the subject matter expert, support for Swift Alliance upgrade, routing workflow, user account management and communication protocols with bank applications, financial filtering tools, FIN/MX interface, archiving Provide support to projects and business functions as a Subject Matter Expert, liaising with external vendors where necessary Review and provide feedback on test strategies and solution outlines. Evaluate the impact of proposed changes and articulate any business impacts Conduct requirement gathering sessions and gap analysis of current business processes. This includes working with the users to understand their needs and identify areas where the current business processes can be improved Document functional requirements based on the defined business requirements Drive system integration testing, regression testing, and user training, ensuring the successful deployment of new functionalities Collaborate with infrastructure teams for technical topics and coordination Track the progress of the project and provide updates to the project manager. This includes ensuring that the project is on track and that any problems are identified and addressed early Prepare user manuals and operations manuals. This includes creating documentation that will help the users and operators use the system Provide support for incident and problem management, ensuring swift troubleshooting, recovery, and permanent fixes Support the business in satisfying their training and development objectives Take responsibility for knowledge transfer (KT) to other team members Manage and perform ad hoc tasks in a timely manner . This includes being able to handle unexpected tasks that come up during the course of the project. Qualifications: Experience: at least 8 years of IT experience in business analysis Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience Demonstrated experience in SWIFT solutions architecture, implementation, and support. Proficiency in SWIFT products, including Swift Alliance Access, Swift Integrated Layer, and related tools. Strong knowledge of SWIFT message standards such as FIN, InterAct, FileAct, and ISO standards 15022 and 20022. Familiarity with industry tools for project management, reporting, and change control Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and provide valuable contributions to steering committees Ability to be cross trained on the other BAs’ scope of expertise to expand its own scope of knowledge as well as increase the bandwidth of the team Flexibility to occasionally support production deployment and maintenance during evenings or weekends Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
