Job description

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead with a proven track record in the agricultural sector, specifically with expertise in Hi-Tech Agriculture. As a pivotal component of our sales force, the Team Lead will serve as a crucial link between high-value leads and top management, ensuring the successful conversion of prospective clients into satisfied customers.

Responsibilities: Directly manage high-value leads, fostering relationships, and guiding them through the understanding of our projects. Engage with leads through meaningful dialogue, addressing queries, and presenting tailored solutions that align with their needs. Collaborate closely with top management to devise strategies that enhance lead conversion rates. Monitor and report on the sales pipeline, ensuring targets are met and potential opportunities are capitalized upon. Conduct regular follow-ups and maintain a strong post-sale relationship with converted clients to ensure continued satisfaction. Maintain a deep understanding of Agriplast’s offerings and the high-tech agriculture market to effectively communicate value propositions.

Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the team towards meeting or exceeding set targets. Foster team development through systematic training programs, leveraging both internal resources and external opportunities. Conduct performance evaluations based on company-set procedures and KPIs. Drive the team towards additional achievements by setting a motivational climate. Uphold and embody the company values in all actions and decisions.

Qualifications Proven experience in a business development role within the agricultural sector; specific experience with greenhouses is highly desirable. Exceptional communication and networking abilities, coupled with superior customer service skills, to effectively liaise with farmers and clients. In-depth knowledge of the agricultural landscape with a focus on greenhouse technologies and markets. Robust capacity to work under duress, manage stress, and adhere to strict deadlines. A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field.
