Trumpet Teacher - Remote Job

Job description
This is a remote position.
- Provide trumpet lessons to students focusing on technique repertoire music theory and performance skills.
- Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each students individual goals abilities and learning styles.
- Evaluate students progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Prepare students for performances auditions and competitions as needed.
- Encourage and inspire students to develop a love for music and trumpet playing.
- Communicate effectively with students and their parents/guardians regarding lesson schedules progress and expectations.
- Stay updated with new teaching methodologies music trends and trumpet repertoire.
Requirements
- Proficiency in trumpet playing and a strong understanding of music theory.
- Previous teaching experience preferably with a diverse range of students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their musical goals.
- Patience flexibility and a passion for teaching music.
- A degree in music or equivalent professional experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Additional Skills (preferred but not required):
- Experience in ensemble coaching or conducting.
- Familiarity with various musical styles (classical jazz contemporary etc.).
- Knowledge of music technology and its integration into teaching (recording digital notation etc.).
