Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant who is CA-qualified and possesses expertise in Australian and Indian payroll systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, overseeing payroll processing, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Oversee payroll processing for Australian and Indian employees, including calculations, deductions, and compliance with tax regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency. Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements in both Australia and India. Conduct periodic audits to identify discrepancies, errors, and areas for improvement. Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making. Assist with external audits and liaise with auditors as needed. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations affecting the business. Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance on accounting principles and best practices. Qualifications: A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required. Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, preferably in a multinational environment. Proficiency in Australian and Indian payroll processing and familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation laws in Australia and India. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in mentoring or supervising junior staff is a plus. Strong ethical standards and commitment to integrity in financial practices.
