About the Role:
Star Sports is the leading sports broadcaster in India. It offers a wide variety of sports content, broadcasting all major sports events such as IPL, ICC, English Premier League, Pro Kabaddi, Wimbledon to name a few. Star Sports has redefined sports broadcasting in India with extensive cricket coverage across domestic and international matches. Talent Management is responsible for running smooth operations for Sports Talent onboard and managing their contracts and performance across key national markets.

Star Sports is a key catalyst in driving a multisport culture in India. Over the past 5 years we have invested in and partnered with key stakeholders to popularize sports beyond Cricket. We serve high quality content to millions of customers daily across millions of devices, all of which are constantly evolving and changing. Sports is a primary pillar for the network. From the dominating world of Cricket, the focus now is to grow and develop other sporting properties such as PKL, Wimbledon, and English Premier League. The successful applicant will play an integral role in helping to build and maintain relationships with key partners and on-air personalities with a heavy focus on external and internal stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
•Play a central role in building a varied and robust talent pipeline by working closely with the Content leads, Talent Management Lead, Programming, and Production Team & servicing business requirements as needed.
•Leverage relationships to create opportunities for Talent.
•Build and nurture positive relationships with talents to promote satisfaction and loyalty.
•Follow legal formalities and strict compliance protocols whilst dealing with Talent and external bodies.
•Liaising with external bodies and partners for identifying & mapping of talent across national & regional feeds.
•Assist with commercial negotiations, contracting as per need, and managing logistics when required.
•Working with the Content teams for talent allocation to various programs across live and non-live programming.
•Responsible for planning & implementing talent development activities (talent training/ conferences / workshops etc.)
Performance Measures:
Qualifications:
•4-6 years of relevant experience.
•Graduate/Post-graduate in any stream.
