Job description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team in achieving revenue targets and driving business growth. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and mentoring and motivating the sales team to deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving success.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base.
- Lead and manage the sales team, including setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and support to ensure individual and team success.
- Identify new business opportunities and key accounts, build strong relationships with clients, and negotiate contracts to secure new business.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and other cross-functional teams to develop sales collateral, promotional materials, and product offerings to support sales efforts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to remain competitive and drive innovation.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions to coach and develop the sales team and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage the sales pipeline, track sales metrics, and prepare regular reports and forecasts to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network, build relationships, and generate leads.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements - Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management or leadership roles, preferably in the Infrastructure Industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve goals.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans and drive revenue growth.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
- Relevant certifications or training in sales management would be an advantage.
