Job Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau based on user needs and requirements.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, business managers, and other stakeholders, to gather requirements and understand data visualization needs.
3. Analyze complex data sets, identify trends, patterns, and correlations to provide meaningful insights.
4. Optimize business intelligence workflows and processes to improve data analysis efficiency and accuracy.
5. Develop and maintain data sources, specifically working with SQL databases to extract and transform data sources for Tableau consumption.
6. Create data visualizations that are interactive, user-friendly, and meet Trasks data visualization standards.
7. Collaborate with the internal development team to integrate Tableau visualizations with existing systems and applications to deliver seamless solutions.
8. Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance measures to ensure data accuracy and functionality of Tableau reports and dashboards.
9. Stay updated with the latest Tableau features, enhancements, and best practices, and continuously improve technical skills.
10. Provide operational support and assistance to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and provide training and documentation as needed.
Qualifications: 1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Tableau are a plus.
2. Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or related role, implementing BI solutions using Tableau.
3. Solid understanding of data visualization concepts, design principles, and industry best practices.
4. Proficiency in Tableau software, including Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep; familiarity with Tableau Online is a plus.
5. Strong SQL skills to efficiently query, analyze, transform, and optimize data for Tableau consumption.
6. Experience working with large data sets and databases, preferably SQL Server or Oracle.
7. Expertise in creating calculated fields, sets, hierarchies, data blending, and advanced Tableau functions.
8. Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes to design efficient, scalable, and reliable Tableau solutions.
9. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to extract insights from complex datasets.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with various stakeholders and translating business requirements into actionable dashboards
