Job description
Responsibilities
- Understand priorities for requirements and follow purchase procedures on compliance and spend limits.
- Manage Purchase requisitions and work towards release of POs on time to suppliers.
- Develop sourcing plan and co-ordinate with suppliers for completion for low value purchases.
- Develop comparatives in RFQ documents.
- Co-ordination with various stakeholders to gain approvals where required.
- Communicate across multiple stakeholders, requestors, inventory control.
- Resolve and co-ordinate any operational day to day issues with the suppliers, requestors, Accounts Payable.
- Create and manage the contracts for different purchases and renewals.
Qualifications - Graduate with Excellent communication skills
- Minimum 7-8 years of prior buying experience across any PR to PO, tactical buying via single source or multiple source
- Good understanding of various procurement guidelines
- Experience in Contract Management
- Prior experience of working with suppliers and stakeholders
- Good analytical / reasoning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- ERP exposure
Night Shift Commitment : Willingness to work night shifts from
10 PM to 7 AM , maintaining operational effectiveness during non-standard working hours.
