Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership: Take charge of the company's financial goals, strategy, and reviews, ensuring a strong financial foundation.
- Fund Raises: Manage any fund raises, contributing to the company's growth and stability.
- Cash Flow Management: Oversee daily cash flows to maintain financial stability.
- Risk Management: Mitigate financial risks through proactive measures.
- Financial Reporting: Create comprehensive financial statements, models, and budget forecasts.
- Payment Processing: Ensure timely completion of payments.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation for accurate financial records.
- Tax Filings: Complete timely tax filings, ensuring compliance with all laws.
- Compliance Check: Verify compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Audit Coordination: Facilitate the audit of financial documents.
- Financial Health Reporting: Regularly report on the financial health of the company.
- Vendor Relationships: Build, train, and manage vendor relationships for seamless operations.
- Systems Setup: Establish accounts, file systems, and data systems for efficient financial management.
- Team Management: Build, train, and manage a high-performing accounts team.
Experience and Qualifications:
Experience: 5-7 years as a CFA or CMA is mandatory.
Big 4 Exposure: Any experience from big 4 accounting firms (PWC, E&Y, KPMG, Deloitte) will be an added advantage.
Job Tenure: Minimum tenure at past jobs of 2 years.
Education: Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Master of Business Administration preferred but not mandatory. CFA or CMA certifications are mandatory.
Institutional Background: Candidates should hold a degree from a Top 25 institution.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoho Books, Tally Solutions.
