In addition to the annual initiatives, the key accountabilities of this position are:
Production Requirements
- Diploma or Professional course with relevant experience of 5 years
- Understanding and handling the production in one shift completely and independently.Ability to work in rotational shifts (incl. Night shift) are only preferred for this role.
- Be able to identify shortages and push for getting the parts from stores.
- Be able to check the hours of accounting done by the operators.
- Be able to review the efficiency report and identify root causes of low efficiency operators and act on improving their efficiencies.
- Ensure the product is ready for final inspection.
- Offer products to final quality inspection, coordinate with Quality team accordingly.
- Verify the variances b/w the planned cost and quantities of BOM with the actual ones.
- Complete production orders and put them in the right location in ERP.
- Be able to provide updates in daily production order review meeting.
Role Requirements
- 5 years of experience working with operations in an industrial environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of deliveries, handling priorities and operators
- Ability to break down complex problems in a simplified way, conduct root cause analysis and provide clear, well thought-out recommendations.
- Strong, team-oriented leadership skills with presence and a bias for action.
- Self-directed with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and a focus on results.
- Ability to communicate in an open and authentic manner in all situations.
