Responsibilities: We’re passionate about our role in delivering testing capabilities that the entire business will depend on, and high availability will be essential. You’ll bring a design-first approach for building resilient platforms that scale. These designs take a full-stack approach and account for infrastructure, database, and application requirements, with an emphasis on software release capabilities. In this role, you will: Collaborate with team members to co-develop and solve problems. Seek knowledge from domain specialists when needed. Understand the importance of system and technology integration and the basic features and facilities involved in the integration process. Develop and test standard software applications and related programs and procedures to ensure they meet design requirements. Help coordinate partner input and collaboration efforts when developing solutions to issues. Feel comfortable challenging authority/the status quo. Report clearly on current work status. Qualifications: Taking advantage of excellent partnering and organization skills, deliver designs that use distributed architectures and incorporate requirements gathering, testing, and performance specifications into the process. Working in the software test space is not new for you. You’ve been developing test and deploy capabilities for several years and have a strong understanding of the Performance space. You can speak to the importance of performance testing in software delivery pipelines, concepts that teams need to follow to be considered mature in their deployment capabilities, and able to identify areas for improvement in our performance testing platforms. Performance Engineering basics and frameworks Experience with Performance engineering tooling such as JMeter, Gatling, Taurus, Locust, Blazemeter, Lighthouse CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Spinnaker, Grafana, Jenkins Experience in Azure Cloud technologies, infrastructure as code like CloudFormation, Terraform Performance Tuning (using profilers) and JMX monitoring Ability to assist and advise product teams on Performance Test authoring and execution. Cloud technologies (azure etc) Tech Stack:- Github Actions Docker/Kubernetes Cloudformation/Terraform Able to code (Python/Java) Shell Scripting Performance testing tools (JMeter, gatling etc) CICD tools/Jenkins/pipeline Additional Skills: Python, TypeScript, Shell Scripting General containerized methodologies using Docker and Kubernetes Database knowledge such as Elasticsearch, MongoDBJob tags
