Job description
Experience Required : 7+ years.Working Days : 5 Days a weekShift Timings : 12:00 hrs. - 21:00 hrs. IST.Qualifications :- Degree in Computer Science from a reputed institute/Advanced certification in technologiesResponsibilities :- Development and deployment of our core claims administration system.- Development and publication of our core integrations.- Implementation and delivery of relevant coding technologies to defined standards.- Implementation and execution of thorough unit testing and version control.- Understanding of emerging technologies and their suitability to business demands.- Adherence to Agile Scrum methodology.- Working directly with the Product Owner and business to develop solutions to support the product roadmap.- Working alongside and collaborating with other Senior Software Engineers.- Support and mentoring for other members of the team.- Work with shared services teams to ensure dependencies are raised and managed.- Help to develop and promote the long-term technical strategy.- Support the deployment of changes into the production environment and aid in the investigation of live issues or incidents.- Ensuring the software delivered is performant, secure, and scalable.- Code reviewing/monitoring coding standards.Mandatory Skills :- Extensive commercial experience in the software engineering sector.- Proven knowledge of design patterns and Object Orientated Design.- Excellent knowledge and experience with Java 11, Spring, Spring Boot, REST & SOAP.- Extensive experience of MS Azure services including APIM, Event Grids, Azure AD, etc.- Experience writing and maintaining Terraform and Ansible code.- Ability to write and support CI/CD tooling - such as Azure DevOps/ArgoCD.- Experience and understanding of version control systems such as GIT.- Strong problem-solving abilities.- An understanding of SDLC in an agile environment.- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.- Experience mentoring, coaching, and supporting team members.Preferred Skills :- Familiarity with Database technologies, e.g. COSMOS DB.- Experience utilizing MS Power Platform tools.- OCJP certification desirable.- Unit testing using Mock and other frameworks.Personal Attributes :- Self-driven, reliable, and collaborative team player- Positive Attitude and a "Can-do" approach- Flexible and able to adapt to new processes in a dynamic environment.- Able to plan and manage own workload and delivering results.- Positive outlook with a desire to learn and help drive and instill technical excellence.- Eagerness to share knowledge and learn from colleagues in a co-development environment.- Articulate along with clear and concise written communication skills.- Good analytical skills with an ability to drive change through persuasion and consensus.
