Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems using your expertise in Oracle Financials. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting, resolving issues, and providing support to ensure smooth functioning of the systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide technical support for Oracle Financials and other critical business systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and minimal disruption to business operations. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Expertise in Oracle Financials.
- Good To Have Skills: Knowledge of other ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Experience with incident management and problem management tools such as ServiceNow or JIRA.
- Experience with SQL and database management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle Financials.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions.
