Job description
As an AVP – Learning Solutions, you will be instrumental in helping the organization acquire new customers, thereby contributing to business growth. You will be responsible for supporting the Sales team with shaping opportunities to specific requirements, scoping customers' needs, creating effective solutions, writing compelling proposals, and presenting solutions to customers. You will be expected to create solutions that accurately address customer needs and are in line with the latest trends in the learning industry. You will also be responsible for building new and innovative learning models, technologies, products, and frameworks that help our customers achieve success.
Responsibilities:
•Understand customers' business issues and implicit and explicit needs.
•Determine the scope of an opportunity in terms of measurable learning goals and learning services needed to meet those goals.
•Participate in client meetings with a clear agenda and questions to gain clarity on client requirements.
•Identify the target audience, their characteristics, and learning needs.
•Determine the critical success factors that influence the decision-making of a client.
•Educate clients and drive them to agreement on needs and scope.
•Suggest appropriate learning strategies and services to meet performance goals.
•Translate business requirements into potential learning needs and create impactful and effective learning solutions, incorporating learning artifacts, delivery considerations, technology, timelines, and price.
•Interpret, implement, and articulate styles and standards related to instructional, linguistic, visual, and technical aspects of a learning solution.
•Perform content analysis to determine the reusability of existing training material to fulfill unmet needs.
•Establish cost-benefit and ROI measures.
•Estimate the effort required by the instructional design role holders to produce a customized learning product.
•Identify risks and address those in the proposed approach.
•Collaborate with internal stakeholders to explain business requirements that drive learning needs.
Job Qualifications
Minimum:
•Any Bachelor's degree is required.
•8+ years' experience in learning design & and development, preferably for corporate clients
•4+ years' experience in learning needs analysis, solution design, and proposal writing
•Ability and skills to gather implicit and explicit customer requirements
•High level of creativity and a flair for impactful visualization and articulation of concept-to-market ideas
•Hands-on experience in creating presentations with clarity using effective storytelling techniques
•Exposure to learning technologies such as Storyline, Captivate, and Rise and platforms such as LMS, LXP, and LCMS.
•Ability to focus activities and decisions on opportunities that produce significant and strategic business impact
•Excellent communication – oral and written with coherent, concise, and grammatically correct writing style
•High attention to detail, ownership, and commitment
•Ability to self-manage multiple priorities and deadlines
•Experience in working with global and culturally diverse teams
•Software Proficiency: MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

•Background in marketing or advertising
•Experience with project planning and costing
•Software knowledge: Adobe e-Learning Suite Programs (Captivate, Photoshop, Flash)
