Job description
We are looking for a dynamic office Cook person to prepare delicious and nutritious meals on a daily basis. This position will also include rigorously maintaining the cleanliness of all aspects of Food Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and specifications
- Maintain strict sanitation in all areas of Food Operations including disinfecting, dishwashing, pot washing, equipment cleaning, and maintenance.
- Safely store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
- Assist with all other food prep when required, including setup and teardown of special meal catering and after-hours events.
- Assist Company Operations team with other duties as assigned .
- Monitor and manage inventory of kitchen supplies
- Collaborate with team members to plan and create menus
- Follow dietary restrictions and preferences of office staff
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in an office or similar setting
- Knowledge of South Indian cuisine and ability to prepare authentic dishes
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work independently and meet/exceed deadlines under pressure.
- Ability to prioritize, remain calm, and multi-task under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Certification from a culinary school is a plus
