Job description
1Monitoring of jobs as per machining route/process card.
2Shall be responsible for handling of shift activities, Effective utilization of machine shop shift manpower and resources for smooth
operation of shop.
3Inspection of jobs during and after machining.
4Should have Good knowledge and hands on experience in CNC Programming to prepare/verify the CNC programs for complex
profiles.
5Critical dimension measurement using Vernier, Depth gauge, Templates, Inside & Outside micrometers, On machine GD&T
inspections etc.
6Should have knowledge of WMS of shop floor & TPM.
7Should have knowledge of machining of heavy forging components.
8Should have knowledge to understand & study engineering drawings with GD &T.
9Should have knowledge of supervision of heavy machines (CNC VTL, CNC Horizontal Boring machine, CNC Horizontal lathe, DHD
etc..)
10Should have thorough knowledge of cutting tools (Inserts, Cutters, Tool holders, Boring tools, special tools, drills, tapes and spares
etc..)
11 Capable for training to operators and contract workmen.
12 Should have knowledge of handling of heavy components.
