Job description
Microsoft SharePoint Software Development, Maintenance, and Support Services shall include, but not be limited to the ongoing support and development of existing BPCA SharePoint Site and Procurement Site
(1) support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for SharePoint Site and Procurement Site;
(2) development of the SharePoint Site and Procurement Site;
(3) development of SharePoint document libraries and data migration;
(4) design, customization, and implementation of new SharePoint modules as needed by BPCA. A detailed scope of work for which the selected Proposer will be responsible can be found in Section 2: Scope of Work.
2. Scope of Work In order to further maintain the SharePoint Site and Procurement Site to BPCA's needs the Authority seeks a Proposer to perform the following services:
Support and Maintenance of Existing SharePoint Site and Procurement Site Proposers shall ensure that the SharePoint Site and Procurement Site are secure, up-to-date, and functioning properly. To this end, Proposer shall:
i. Provide telephone and email support to handle BPCA's SharePoint issues Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM, excluding State-recognized holidays. Consultant shall make commercially reasonable efforts to respond to support calls within two (2) hours of receipt.
ii. Assign a SharePoint designer and developer who can quickly handle issues on the site as they arise.
iii. Ensure that the BPCA domain is authenticated via Microsoft Azure.
iv. Provide support for updates to SharePoint Site and Procurement Site to ensure continuity of web design, page layout, and site assets.
v. Maintain SharePoint Site lists, libraries, permission groups, metadata, layout designs, site assets, workflows, and all other site elements.
vi. Provide documentation and training to BPCA staff relating to the SharePoint Site and Procurement Site, including but not limited to current configurations and settings, and front- and back-end processes.
vii. Ensure the SharePoint site is safe, legal, and compliant with Americans with Disabilities Act ('ADA') and other related requirements including New York State guidelines for maximum accessibility of the site.
b. Development and Expansion of SharePoint Site and Procurement Site Proposer shall assist BPCA with the undertaking of various projects to enhance, expand, improve upon, and further develop the SharePoint Site and Procurement Site. To this end, Proposer shall:
i. Provide expert consultation and recommendations, including how new technological developments, software updates, and other innovations can be utilized to improve the SharePoint Site and Procurement Site.
ii. Design, develop, implement, and test enhancements to and expansions of Procurement Site and SharePoint Site as requested by BPCA.
c. The selected contractor will be expected to comply with all applicable terms, provisions and requirements contained in the BPCA Cybersecurity Requirements, which is attached as Exhibit B.'
