We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Operations Manager, Locomotives at our project site in Dahod.Manufacturing Operations Manager, Dahod Factory will report to Head - Factory Operations.

The job responsibilities of the Manufacturing Operations Manager, Dahod includes (but not limited to)

. Oversees the manufacturing of Locomotive, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.

. Responsible for all department managers and supervisors related to Manufacturing and Industrial, with review/approval responsibility for all operations employees.

. Reviews production reports to ensure safety, quality and delivery goals and standards are met.

• Achieve goals & metrics to attain company objectives & increase customer satisfaction while ensuring efficient, cost- effective and safe operations.
• Operation Excellence in Shop floor. Make & Buy strategy for Inhouse/Supplier parts.
• Developing and maintaining a sound working relationship with the customer, managing customer expectations, solving issues, and identifying additional opportunities within ongoing projects.
• Maintain the synergy between Manufacturing and Industrialization to achieve the decided project KPIs

. Forecast requirements prepare an annual budget schedule expenditures analyze variances initiating corrective actions.

. Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints.

• Conduct periodic inspections of all relevant departments to ensure standards are met.
• Keep cross function collaboration and conflict resolution.
• Create time bound action items based on internal and external customer complaints on quality.
• Create a healthy ecosystem with the suppliers ensuring right product quality being delivered.
• Enable to provide guidance in innovative solution in product as well as process to meet cost savings requirements.

Use your skills to move the world forward

• Graduate in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. MBA is an added benefit.
• Should have at least 15 years' experience in rolling stock domain. Experience in Rolling Stock Production, Manufacturing Strategy and Leading People.
• Should be proficient in English and Hindi. Fluency in Gujrati and German is added benefit.
• Strong people and leadership skills
• Experience in working with Indian Railways Government Officials
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach with problem solving skills.
