Job description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our piling rigs/ foundation equipment rentals business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of our equipment rental activities, managing a team of professionals, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of the equipment rental industry.

Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Ø Recruit, train, and supervise a team of equipment operators,
Ø Ensure the team is adequately trained, motivated, and working efficiently.
Equipment Maintenance:
Ø Oversee equipment maintenance and repair schedules to ensure all equipment is in excellent working condition.
Ø Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
Rental Operations:
Ø Monitor the rental schedule, allocate equipment, and ensure accurate and timely delivery and pickup of equipment to customers.
Ø Develop and implement efficient equipment utilization strategies.
Inventory Management:
Ø Maintain accurate inventory records and track equipment availability.
Ø Implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce idle equipment.
Customer Service:
Ø Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and resolving issues promptly.
Ø Implement and improve customer service standards.
Safety Compliance:
Ø Enforce safety regulations and best practices to ensure the safety of equipment operators and on-site personnel.
Ø Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain safety records.
Cost Control:
Ø Monitor and control operational expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Ø Develop and manage the operations budget.
Reporting:
Ø Prepare regular reports on equipment utilization, rental revenue, and operational performance.
Ø Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, permits, and licensing requirements.
Qualifications:
Ø Bachelor's degree in business management, construction management, or a related field.
Ø Proven experience of 5 year & above in construction equipment rentals or a similar field.
Ø Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ø Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ø Knowledge of construction equipment and their maintenance requirements.
Ø Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ø Strong safety consciousness and knowledge of safety regulations.
Ø Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
