Job description
Job Title : PostgreSql Admin
Experience : 5 years
Location : Pune(Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain existing PostgreSQL Server Database. Identify and address performance issues in coordination with business.
Monitor and maintain existing Linux platform.
Ensuring platform are regularly patched and upgraded as per organization standards.
Good problemsolving skills.
Good knowledge in Change Management Incident Management Root Cause Analysis.
Ensure to follow Organization Standards & Processes and adherence to compliance of all internal controls.
Work experience in Agile Model Kanban Jira Confluence.
Contribute to Automation Initiatives.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
Must have:
Hands on experience on working with Linux environment like O/S understanding Linux/Shell commands etc..
Hands on experience on working with PostgreSQL environment like writing PostgreSQL Schema and User permissions User Management activities in PostgreSQL like to create/modify/delete Users.
Hands on experience in IAM related activities like User/Roles/Group/Permissions
Good understanding of Active Directory (AD) Group integration and mapping AD groups to databases in PostgreSQL
Excellent Communication and Interpretation Skills.
The platform has variety of tools and candidate should have ability to diagnose the issue by own or engage relevant members to identify and resolution.
Comfortable working in flexible environment.
Good to have :
Knowledge on scheduling tools like ControlM
Should be well versed with ITIL concepts and more specific understanding of Service operations activities.
Relevant DevOps tool knowledge.
Review update and execute service recovery procedures at set intervals with help of infrastructure admins.
