Job description
Technical -
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Medical Coder.
The desired candidate must have robust understanding of Spine surgery coding, advanced proficiency in medical terminology, comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology, familiarity with ICD-10-CM, expertise in CPT codes, and a sound understanding of pharmacology.
Demonstrated expertise in coding for Labs, Diagnostic Radiology, and other Ancillary Services.
Certification as a coder approved by AAPC or AHIMA is mandatory.
nProficient in HCPCS (Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System) and CPC (Certified Professional Coder) coding.
