Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head-Embedded Product Quality at e-con Systems located in Chennai. The Head-Embedded Product Quality will be responsible for ensuring high-quality standards in our products and processes through product strategy, analytical skills, communication, market research, and product management.

Qualifications

• Product Strategy and Product Management skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with embedded systems, image sensors, and camera modules
• Quality assurance and testing experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience in ISO and other related certifications like CMMI, etc.
• Experience in automotive safety standards like ASIL, ISO 26262 is a plus

Key Result Areas of  Quality  Team – Product & Services

1. Define the  Quality requirements of a product with the Product Owner 
2. Develop a Product  Quality Validation Plan [Test Plan] for the product
3. Test and validate the product  quality and present detailed reports to the Product Development Team. 
4. Provide a 'Product  Quality Report' for the product 
5. Provide a development  quality report & feedback to the product development team.
6. Confirm the data on the datasheet and other documents are correct by means of test and validation. 
7. Follow up and record all product  quality related bugs reported back from the field for SAMPLES 
8. Publish an updated Product  Quality Report every 3 months since launch [for the first year] and then every 6 months for upto 3 years. 
9. Follow up on field returns of product, maintain and publish reports on the field returns. 

Note : All KRA will also be suitable for any product customization taken up by the service team. Additions to the  Quality Requirements,  Quality Report, etc. would be done for customization.

Product  quality team should take care of strict adherence of internal process, improving speed of testing, authenticity of reports and scope of the testing.

1. Follow up on the process adherence. 
2. Improve the automation tests conducted vs manual testing 
3. Fix quantitative metrics for image  quality testing
4. Create and use tests for quantitative image  quality testing
