Job description
Job Description :- Migrating from BMC TrueSight Operations Management (TSOM) to BMC Helix Operations Management. - Lead migration workshops, architecture alignment workshops, and design migration of rules, policies, event classes, data tables, and integration. - Lead, direct, and participate in small and large teams to deliver required outcomes as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW). - Understand and adhere to BMC's delivery methodology. - Accountable to the Project Manager and clients for performing work defined in the SOW. - Collect business and technical information from clients, determine technical feasibility, and apply technology to improve IT functions related to the SOW tasks. - Install, customize, and configure BMC or third-party products, integrating them with each other and third-party applications. - Proficient in troubleshooting technical problems and escalating when necessary. - Effectively manage customer expectations through communication and documentation, including delivering technical presentations. - Comprehensive understanding of IT operations, Business Service Management, and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL). - Define, write, and deliver specifications, user guides, architecture, and methodology. - Develop and maintain client relationships, lead technical conversations, and provide architecture guidance. - Program, test, document, and implement systems and software using BMC project and consulting methods. - Modify work processes and inform the team of new techniques and practices. - Research complex workflows and provide recommendations and risk assessments. - Develop and support open systems solutions and facilitate knowledge transfer. - Assist in developing customer presentations and messaging. Basic Qualifications :- 8+ years' experience - 5+ years' experience in systems design and development experience in an enterprise computing environment using BMC Solution skills. - Must have migration experience with BMC Helix Operations Management. - Experience with migration from BMC TrueSight Operations Management (TSOM) to BMC Helix Operations Management. - Experience with leading migration workshops, Architecture alignment workshops, and Design migration of rules/policies/ event classes/ data tables / integrations. - Experience with multiple implementations and BMC product installation experience. - Certified in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and/or Master Certified in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL). - Certified on multiple product families/ full suite BMC solutions. - B.S. or equivalent experience in computer science, MIS, or related field (master's degree preferred).
