Job Title: Purchase Executive Garment Sector

Job Summary:
As a Purchase Executive in the garment sector you will be responsible for sourcing purchasing and managing the inventory of materials required for garment production. You will collaborate closely with suppliers negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules. Your role will involve maintaining optimal inventory levels monitoring market trends and identifying costsaving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Identify reliable suppliers for fabrics trims accessories and other materials required for garment production.
- Source materials at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability to support production schedules.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers fostering open communication and resolving any issues promptly.
- Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that materials meet established quality standards.
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials to verify quality and compliance with specifications.
- Stay updated on market trends industry developments and regulatory requirements related to garment materials.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders contracts and supplier communications.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities inventory levels and costsaving initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in supply chain management Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or in a similar procurement role preferably in the garment industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with inventory management software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Knowledge of garment materials production processes and quality standards.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
