Job description
We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. As an SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining databases and related activities. Your primary focus will be on writing efficient SQL queries, optimizing database performance, and ensuring data integrity. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of database management principles, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain database systems using SQL technologies.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data.
- Monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency within the database systems.
- Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and define database solutions.
- Participate in database design and schema modifications.
- Create and maintain database documentation, including data dictionaries, entity-relationship diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Perform data migrations and transformations as required.
- Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in SQL technologies.
- Should have a good understanding of Data warehousing concepts, such as normalization, and a solid understanding of OLTP and OLAP system behavior.
- Proficient in building complex Stored Procedures and User Defined Functions.
- Experience working with Triggers, Aggregate Functions, String functions, Window functions, cursors, and other important SQL concepts.
- Hands-on experience in creating, monitoring, and troubleshooting SQL jobs.
