To know more about us click here . Mission of the Role: Elevate gaming excellence within Visteon's Android Infotainment System as a key member of the IVI & CDC team. Drive innovation, design, and optimization, leveraging mobile gaming expertise and robust Android development skills to enhance user experience. Key Objectives of this Role:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and development of an innovative OTT streaming aggregator platform integrated into infotainment systems, aligning seamlessly with business objectives and user expectations.
  • Drive the creation of a visually appealing, user-friendly interface in collaboration with UX/UI designers, ensuring an intuitive experience for content discovery and interaction.
  • Optimize connectivity with diverse OTT streaming services, guaranteeing compatibility, peak performance, and a unified user journey.
  • Implement cutting-edge algorithms for content aggregation, personalization, and recommendations, elevating the user's content discovery and viewing experience.
  • Uphold the integrity of the OTT streaming platform by implementing robust security measures to safeguard user data and content rights.
  • Maintain successful integration of third-party APIs, facilitating updates and changes to sustain service integrations.
  • Generate comprehensive documentation, encompassing design specifications, integration guidelines, and troubleshooting guides for the OTT platform.
  • Conduct market research, execute feasibility studies, and effectively communicate the intricacies of the role to cross-functional teams.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with developers, designers, QA, and product managers to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to OTT platform development and enhancement.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Integration of multiple OTT streaming services into the infotainment system, ensuring seamless connectivity and content delivery.
  • The reliability and connectivity of the OTT platform across different network conditions, ensuring consistent performance.
  • Meet project timelines for the development, integration, and updates of the OTT platform, ensuring timely delivery of features and improvements.
  • Monetization metrics, such as subscription sign-ups, in-app purchases, or ad revenue generated through the OTT platform.

Key Year One Deliverables: Qualification, Experience and Skills:

  • 8-14 years of experience on development, with Proven experience in developing OTT platforms or similar streaming applications.
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong Java / Kotlin, C++ programming skills.
  • Experience with OTT streaming protocols, DRM, and content delivery networks.
  • Experience with popular OTT streaming services, APIs, and content metadata formats.
  • Working knowledge of Microservices based solutions in cloud environment.
  • Familiarity working with could related technologies (Microsoft Azure Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Basics, GCP Basics)
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Creative problem-solver capable of creating and reproducing complex software defects.
  • Knowledge of process models (e.g. Automotive SPICE®)
