Job Overview Sinclus, a Mumbai-based staffing services provider, is seeking a Safety Engineer with 7 to 10 years of experience. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for ensuring a safe work environment and promoting a strong safety culture within the organization. This is a full-time position based in Panipat, Haryana, India.
Qualifications And Skills - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as a Safety Engineer, preferably in a similar industry
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards
- Familiarity with hazard identification and risk assessment techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Roles And Responsibilities - Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
- Provide safety training to employees and contractors to ensure proper understanding of safety protocols
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Maintain and update safety records, reports, and documentation
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address safety concerns and implement safety measures
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in safety engineering
- Perform job hazard analyses and risk assessments
- Participate in safety committee meetings and provide recommendations for improving safety performance
- Assist in the development and review of emergency response plans
