Our Mission Critical division is a dynamic and growing unit that specialises in the field of design, due diligence reviews and enhanced testing and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems and Mission Critical Applications such as data centres and banking. We have offices in across the region including Hong Kong, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Singapore, Jakarta, Manila and Kuala Lumpur. Recently we joined NV5 group. CFD Engineer / Building Physics Specialist (Intermediate) We have recently secured several high-profile projects in the APAC Region. We are seeking now to recruit CFD (Computational Fluid dynamics) Engineers to be based in Hong Kong . You will be working as part of a dynamic and growing team on exciting data center projects in Asia with major international Clients. Requirements Degree Holder in Mechanical/ HVAC / Building Services Engineering Minimum 5+ years post graduate experience in the field of Mechanical Simulation, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Relevant MEP Mechanical Design experience with mission critical facilities such as data centers and banking sector, particularly in heating / cooling load calculations, Energy modeling, Data Centre PUE calculation would be a distinct advantage. Experience with some of the following software: 6SIGMADCX, E20, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace, Hevacomp Bentley, CoolSim, TileFlow, Ansys Fluent Computer literate and have experience of industry design software such as CAD, BIM Good people skills and time management skills Good written and spoken English skill. Fluency in additional languages would be of benefit. Responsibilities You would be expected to work autonomously a lot of the time, with limited supervision from senior engineers, and would therefore need to be highly motivated to achieve the level of quality and work expected of him/her. Report directly to a senior engineer and work to achieve satisfactory conclusions from a highly results-driven organization Duties would include design modeling of Mechanical systems related to the built environment with a focus on critical systems engineering.
