Job description
Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain Windows and Linuxbased systems ensuring optimal performance reliability and security.
- Manage system infrastructure including servers virtualization platforms storage and networking components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Windows and Linux systems collaborating with crossfunctional teams as needed.
- Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline system administration tasks and improve efficiency.
- Monitor system performance analyze trends and recommend enhancements to meet business requirements and service level agreements.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in Windows and Linux administration evaluating and integrating new solutions as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience in designing deploying and supporting Windows and Linux environments in enterprise settings.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell Bash Python or Perl.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware HyperV KVM) and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent.
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible Puppet Chef) and version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices in securing Windows and Linux systems.
