Job description

• Designing Kinematics for efficient and precision robotics platform.
• Design for manufacturing.
• Good knowledge and experience on Geometric tolerancing and dimensioning.
• Efficient with CAD platforms like Solidworks, Fusion 360.
• Strong theoretical background with manufacturing practices. Also preferable hands on experiences.
• Sheet metal Design and Manufacturing Experiences.
• Aware of tolerances associated with different manufacturing processes and machines.
• Following up with vendors and manufacturers with design files, drawings, part production and quality control.
• Strong theoretical background in electromechanical devices and their performances.
• Experienced with various prototyping techniques like 3d printing, Laser cutting, CNC machining, Sheet metal fabrication, Sheet metal bending etc.

Roles And Responsibilities
• You would be responsible for designing efficient kinematics for precision robotics platforms.
• Component selection and design of electromechanical assemblies which can be manufactured and assembled.
• Communicating with manufacturers with designs and getting them machined with required tolerances.
• Assembling the parts and testing them for required performances.
