Frontend / Senior Frontend Developer Betterhalf is India’s first and only matrimony super app without parents. We are the first and only marriage super app in India offering end-to-end matrimony and wedding products to urban Indians, who are the primary decision makers for their marriage and wedding decisions, unlike their parents who were in the driver's seat a decade ago. Our flagship product - matrimonial matchmaking - offers these users the world's fastest matching in a single click (US Patent No. 16/777,773). This matching technology is faster than dating apps and more accurate than traditional matrimonial sites. Company funding: Betterhalf.ai has successfully raised $8.5M in Series A funding from marquee investors like Y Combinator, FinSight Ventures, Instagram cofounder, Dropbox cofounder, Kunal Shah - CRED founder and Nobroker founders. Betterhalf Traction: With 1M MAU and a presence in every city in India, our reach is expansive — and we’re rapidly growing users (50% quarter over quarter) and operating at $500k monthly gross revenue. Your growth: You’ll experience Series B in 24-months and become integrated as a leader in engineering management (front-end) in the next 6 months. You’ll see a 150-people team becoming a 250-people and will grab the rarest opportunity to be in the room where company’s decisions are planned with founders, product and engineering leaders. Below is a list of several skills required to deliver on responsibilities for this role: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in REACT NATIVE development. Should be able to write reusable, testable, and efficient code. Should be able to design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and high-performance applications. Architect & design technically robust, flexible and scalable solutions. You should be able to build pixel-perfect, amazingly smooth UIs across both mobile platforms. Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native. Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes. Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality. Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax. Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts. Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage.
