Job description
We are seeking an experienced and qualified or semi-qualified Chartered Accountant with a dynamic mindset to join our team as Manager Finance and Accounts. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing and implementing robust accounting and financial management systems across all operational areas. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records, collaborating with Human Resources for effective staff management, and providing expert guidance to the management team on financial, accounting, and human resources development matters. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Review monthly financials and conduct additional analytics to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with the billing team to ensure accurate revenue computation, invoicing, and accrual information.
- Finalize books of accounts for assigned service lines/entities.
- Manage banking transactions, payments, vendor invoices, and AR collection information.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders for timely completion of US Internal Audits, Statutory Audits, and other compliance activities.
- Work closely with external Tax and Advisory teams for Quarterly advance taxes, Federal and State returns.
- Perform duties assigned by the Deputy Group Controller or CFO.
Requirements:
- Qualified CA with 5+ years of experience or 8+ years of experience for a semi-qualified.
- Proficient in Balance Sheet reconciliation, Cashflows, and Bank Reconciliations.
- Possess an investigative mindset for reviews and a strong understanding of compliance and finance controls.
- Experience in budget/forecast preparation, MIS variance analysis.
- Strong Excel skills, presentation abilities, and MIS reporting.
- Excellent communication and confidence to engage with key stakeholders.
- Proven experience in book closing, Internal, and Statutory audit completion.
- In-depth understanding of Revenue recognition.
- Familiarity with accounting systems; exposure to NetSuite/PeachTree is an added advantage.
