Job description
The ideal candidate is Senior Engineer/Developer (Development Contributor) having 4-7 years’ experience in development and worked on the Networking Domain. Can Design and Code (design, development, testing & automation, bug-fixing, take care of fixing vulnerabilities, etc.)
Mandatory Experience (technical): Programming experience of interpreter languages, especially Python Programming experience of Ansible network resource modules and standardized network device models; OpenROADM and OpenConfig Development experience using GitHub, Jira Development experience of microservice and REST API Skill of algorithm of first-fit, random-fit, and vertex coloring algorithm Programming experience of interpreter languages, especially Python Skill of algorithm of first-fit, random-fit, and vertex coloring algorithm or similar. For better skill set understanding, e.g., cassiotbatista/rwa-wdm-sim: RWA WDM Simulator: A Python simulator for the routing and wavelength assignment problem in WDM transparent networks with static traffic (github.com) Experience in Linux shell scripting. Optional Experience (non-technical): Worked on the Cloud environments. Understand the Micro-Services – Docker, container environment. Extensively worked on the Linux server-based environment. Understand the Networking terminologies. Mandatory Experience (non-technical): Knowhow of the Agile and Waterfall Development cycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code. Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging. Prepare and produce releases of software components. Worked with cross-functional teams as well as experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle. Good Team player, who gels well with all products owners/members and collaborates well to achieve fast-paced deliveries. Good Customer interfacing & convincing skills (US customer interfacing experience an advantage) Good documentation & communication skillsJob tags
