Job description
The ideal candidate possesses a passion for writing and an innovative ability to create successful marketing campaigns and aid in creating company growth. You will be responsible for generating exciting and compelling stories on both digital and print sources of media.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop advertising campaigns and marketing strategies that meet client needs and goals.
- Conduct research on client products or services, target audiences, and industry trends to develop a deep understanding of the market and the competitive landscape.
- Write clear, concise, and creative copy for a variety of media, including print, radio, television, digital, social media, and outdoor advertising.
- Develop and maintain brand voice and tone guidelines for clients to ensure consistency across all marketing materials.
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and grammatical correctness.
- Present creative ideas and copy to clients for review and feedback, and incorporate their input into the final copy.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and best practices in advertising, marketing, and copywriting, and incorporate these into your work.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, often under tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with other departments within the agency, such as art directors, designers, and account managers, to ensure that copy and creative concepts align with overall campaign objectives.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal team members to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
- Optimize content using SEO best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in journalism, English, communications, or a related discipline
- Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides
- Experience with content management systems
- A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
- Good command of the English Language
- Experience range: 2 – 3 years in the copywriting or content writing field
