[ ABOUT THE ROLE ] Krafton India is looking for a Game Producer with 4+ years of experience who oversees the production of publishing mobile titles, as well as content updates to in-market games. They should understand game production methodologies, social/mobile game design, and monetization strategies. And must proactively drive the development of their title, help set the creative and technical vision, and ensure that games are ultimately delivered on time, on budget at a high level of quality (great games!).
The ideal candidate knows how to deal with uncertainty, and has familiarity with successful freemium titles, including top-grossing mobile games.
[ RESPONSIBILITIES ]- Manage the schedule of a game team from production to release, while meeting defined budgets and quality benchmarks.
- Need to successfully partner with other Krafton India Leaders.
- Continually assess risk and keep the scope of the project in line with budget and schedule.
- Create milestone content and realistic production schedules in coordination with team leads and management.
- Ensure that each member of the team is working from a tracked schedule and has a strong sense of ownership, responsibility and accountability for the quality and timeliness of their contribution.
- Keep abreast of current trends in the marketplace especially with regard to similar and/or competitive products.
- Contributes effectively to process improvement.
- Working closely with department lead, offer input on project team member performance proactively and as requested.
[ REQUIREMENTS ]- 4+ years of experience in game production including 3 or more years of mobile game development.
- Involved in publishing couple of game on mobile.
- Strong process, organizational, and business skills
- Strong people management and problem-solving skills, to include conflict management and resolution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Able to effectively communicate with product, design, marketing, QA, etc.
- Must have a working knowledge of production tools like Jira, confluence etc.
- Ability to multi-task and to adapt easily to change.
- Highly responsible, self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a desire to contribute to a creative environment.
- Outstanding organizational, communication and project/people leadership skills.
- Ability to critique game play and visual design.
[ Pluses ]- Experience in other roles on shipped products such as game design, art, or product.
- Strong understanding of usability and small-screen design
- Experience developing multiple game genres, from casual titles to action and strategy games.
