Job Purpose

National Sales Head is a key strategic role for Godrej Professional to create a cutting edge, future ready sales team for the business and lead to build the brand towards exemplary results.

  • Managing the team of RSMs and ASMs to drive desired results for Godrej Professional
  • Manage the trade marketing and sales development functions of Godrej Professional and bring in the change by digitizing the market working of the FF
  • Delivering revenue results
  • Drive market share gain with key clients vis a vis competition
  • Strategize and build in the future ready GTM for Godrej Professional by expanding network and improving the ways of working of our channel partners.
  • Demonstrates deep understanding of customers, shoppers and competitors
  • Understands business and is able to create & execute growth plans through systematic planning & organizing
  • Identifies & quantify 'sources of growth' and build plans accordingly (Focus Areas & Enablers, Annual Plan)
  • Effectively looks at both internal and external data sets to make robust area growth plans
  • Identifies trends from the data, correlate business growth with market intelligence and come out with required inferences
  • Ensures superior communication of objectives through Regional and Area review meets
  • Work closely with HODs of Technical team and Marketing team to get input support that would help business
  • Reviewing Quarterly and monthly forecasts and stock planning & logistics (Launch Estimates)
  • Builds robust development plans for his team, based on each individual's competency gaps and growth aspiration
  • Ensures flawless execution by achieving value and process objectives in his area
  • Understands how to effectively mitigate competitive threats; and also strengthen the team's weak areas

Educational Qualification

Minimum Graduate in any stream

Experience

8 - 12 years in the Professional / Salon Industry

Skills

The incumbent should have led a team of managers for a leading professional business in India, be strong on execution and acquire a well-developed ability in influencing various stakeholders
