SYX Services Private Limited is a subsidiary of a US based company called Global Industrial Company (NYSE: GIC). We are registered under the Companies Act, 1956, and provide information technology services solely to Global Industrial Company and its subsidiaries located in the United States and Canada. Our operations started in July, 2011 and we are now a 170-member team comprised of Java developers, SAP professionals, .net developers, Oracle developers, a creative team and a Web Chat team. For over 70 years Global Industrial Company through its operating subsidiaries has been an industry leader providing private label and brand name industrial equipment and supplies to businesses throughout North America

Key Responsibilities

• Effective management of multiple sales reps to develop their skills in generating revenue.
o Continuous analysis of sales activities to make suggestions for improvement and identify missed opportunities to assist sales reps in obtaining outlined goals and objectives
o Continuous Ongoing training for the sales team
o Create training curricula and continuously adapt and upgrade as per need
o Conduct New Hire Training
o Develop new training programs
o Continuous improvements in the training programs.
o Generate results and measure the performance of trainees after the session.
o Stay up-to-date with the latest market trends and demands of a corporate sales environment.
o Collaborate with QA to discover new training requirements
o Develop soft skills/writing etiquette (e.g. formal written communications for a US based company)
o Collaborate with the Sales Executives to implement training and incentive programs.
o Assist in the development of strategy and be responsible for implementing and translating that strategy into tangible training actions for the team.
Team Development
• Establish and maintain a positive team atmosphere in which the sales team feel supported.
o Coach, motivate and inspire the team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
o Develop rapport with Leadership and reps to gain their trust and confidence.
o Develop performance objectives with the sales reps, clearly articulating responsibilities and expectations.
Leadership
• Provide strong support to Leadership staff by creating a positive work environment
o Communicate company vision and overall sales objectives to reps and how they personally contribute to the company’s success.
o Be an available resource for the team to assist in resolving issues finding alternative solutions.
o Perform other duties as assigned.
Product Knowledge
• Understanding of Global Equipment Company’s Industry and products.
o Knowledgeable of GEC’s market strategy, competitive landscape, unique value proposition, how we compete and win in the market, and our financial metrics.
o Keep current with the competitor activities and industry changes that affect product sales information.
o Understand how to improve sales team’s ability to spot emerging customer opportunities.

Competencies and skills

• Minimum 4 to 5 years training experience in a Contact Center as Sales Training Specialist, Corporate Sales Trainer or a similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of the sales process and its best practices.
• Ability to design effective sales training programs.
• Ability to measure an employee's performance.
• Ability to motivate others to improve their skills.
• Outstanding coaching and sales skills.
• Ability to multi-task as and when required.
• Disciplined self-starter with strong work ethic
• Strong organizational, administrative and time management skills
• Excellent oral/written communication, presentation, negotiation, organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
