Lead Control Management Officer, COO Front Line Conduct Reporting & Analytics
In this role, you will:
- Analyze and monitor conduct risk data and metrics for boundary triggers, concerning trends, and anomalies and potential issues.
- Translate and present complex data in a manner that educates, enhances understanding, and influence decisions with recommendations and insights.
- Be identified as a credible partner and valued asset to the line of business as a subject matter expert on Conduct related policies/procedures for the Front-Line Conduct team.
- Proactively manage and resolve conflict and effectively defend decisions with objective rationale.
- Strong, clear, and concise written and oral communication skills
- Participate in the development, facilitation, and governance of COO Front Line Conduct team meetings and councils.
- Participate in the development of allegations, ethics, insider threat, gifts and entertainment and sales practices related policies, procedures, job aids and control plans.
- Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks with broad impact.
- Monitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies.
- Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area.
- Develop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls.
- Collaborate and consult with front line management and interact directly with relevant business groups.
- Participate in or provide research for special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications, US:
- 8+ years of Risk Management or Business Controls experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Required Qualifications, International:
- Experience in Conduct Management, risk management, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Strong data analytical skills
- Ability to Identify and evaluate exposures and potential risks ability to provide credible challenge to the business and adapt quickly through research and analysis
- Advanced PowerPoint skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge and understanding of conduct management processes and policies
- Process design and problem solving across multiple processes
- Risk and regulatory compliance experience
- Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
- Knowledge and understanding of risk management and banking operations
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills with an ability to interact effectively with stakeholders, to include virtual, matrixed leadership experience and the ability to effectively manage and build relationships
- Power BI and Tableau a plus
