JD for Tableau Desktop Developer
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop interactive visualizations and reports using Tableau Desktop
• Collaborate with data analysts to identify and gather data requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness in visualizations and reports.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Stay current with Tableau features and functionality.
• Participate in team meetings and provide updates on project progress.
• Provide end-user support and training.
Requirements:
Technical Competencies:
•3+ years of experience in developing interactive visualizations and reports using Tableau Desktop
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and design principles
• Strong understanding of data sources, data blending, and data modelling concepts
• Proficiency in SQL and database technologies
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Tableau workbooks
• Familiarity with Tableau Server and Tableau Prep
• Knowledge of ETL tools and processes
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
