Job description
The role will oversee the management of a Communications Manager ensuring the fundraising team is equipped with the highest quality of communications to steward donors and entice prospects to give.
The role will be a key member of the Shiksha Leadership Team representing the fundraising and communications team at the most senior level in India.
The role will report to VP, head at Ei Shiksha directly. This position is part of a team of a growing team which has the responsibility of growing the
vertical by 50% CAGR annually, and fundraise 100cr in FY25.

schools of India.
He/She will have prior experience in B2B Sales, Partnership management, leading,
coordinating and managing multiple high stakes and high profile relationships.
They should be able to
lead and inspire the team to remain focused on goals and impact while being a hands-on leader.
Roles & Responsibilities -
Donor Management
- Design, document, and implement a systematic and integrated donor relations and stewardship strategy working with the leadership as well as the implementation team
- Drive renewal, upsell, cross-sell by establishing and manage information tracking processes regarding acknowledgement, compliance, recognition, ongoing communications and continued cultivation of past and current donors to enhance their relationship with EI.
- Defining metrics and formats for project monitoring and impact reporting across different channels and donors
- Defining and implementing project monitoring and evaluation standards across all projects
- Ensuring that project progress, reporting and evaluation timelines and SLAs are met
- Coordinating with Ei s finance and legal teams to ensure that all compliance matters are properly addressed
- Closely work with other internal teams (sales, marketing, finance, legal, etc.) as well as external partners consultants/PMU teams.
Strategic Communications
- Develop, implement and manage the vertical s marketing and branding strategy- to build awareness and onboard new donors, partners, and talent
- Maintain a portfolio of compelling stories that can be leveraged to illustrate the donor impact.
- Compilation of the organizations Annual Reports/white-papers/policy briefs by working with different team
Organisational Contribution
- Ensuring timeline management, team management for business development needs and sending regular updates on ongoing projects
- Lead and contribute to organisation-building initiatives as a senior member of the Ei Shiksha team
- Serve in various ad-hoc leadership capacities (e.g., office retreat, project reviews, etc.)
- Contribute to the organisation s knowledge strategy by developing and writing case studies, notes, reports, etc.
- Lead the professional development of junior members.
- Getting opportunities and representing in them (speaking slots, attending, panels, events) to accentuate impact of brand Ei
Requirements
Skills & Education -
- Desire to contribute, serve and do impactful work for society
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- 12+ years of experience with the ability to lead a team
- Tier 1 graduation / post-graduation (ideally with an MBA background)
- Experience in managing M&E and CSR reporting
- Should have worked on targets & SLAs
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to articulate well and convert data into presentable form with meaningful insights
- Good with process formulation and improvement
