Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, and maintain SQL scripts, queries, stored procedures, and functions to support application development and data management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective SQL solutions.
  • Optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability, ensuring efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Identify and troubleshoot database issues, including data integrity, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity problems.
  • Implement data migration, transformation, and integration processes to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
  • Design and maintain database schemas, tables, and relationships based on business requirements and best practices.
  • Create and maintain documentation for database schemas, data dictionaries, and SQL code to facilitate understanding and knowledge sharing.
  • Perform routine database maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and index management to ensure data availability and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in SQL development, database management, and data analytics.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to users, including troubleshooting SQL-related issues and offering guidance on database usage and optimization.
