Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented MIS (Management Information Systems) and Data Expert to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our organization's data systems, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and utilizing data to drive informed decision-making. The MIS and Data Expert will play a crucial role in enhancing overall efficiency, performance, and strategic planning through effective data management, more specifically for the admissions team, outreach team and new projects on-campus.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management:
• Develop and maintain databases, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.
• Implement data quality standards and protocols.
• Regularly perform data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation processes.
Reporting and Analysis:
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support business operations.
• Analyze data trends, patterns, and anomalies to provide insights for decision-making.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their reporting needs and customize reports accordingly.
MIS Development:
• Design, develop, and implement Management Information Systems to streamline processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and customize MIS solutions.
• Ensure MIS aligns with organizational goals and contributes to strategic objectives.
Automation and Efficiency:
• Identify opportunities for process automation to improve efficiency.
• Implement tools and technologies to automate routine data tasks and reporting processes.
Collaboration:
• Collaborate with IT professionals to ensure seamless integration of data systems.
• Provide training and support to end-users on data-related tools and systems.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) in MIS development, data management, and analysis.
• Excellent knowledge of data visualization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
